Starting position

The challenge was to turn a pure online business card into a platform for digital customer acquisition.

To this end, on the one hand, the content in the area of strategy consulting should be restructured and, on the other hand, the professionalism and creativity of HERZKA should be emphasized with high-quality photographs.

STRATEGY & IMPLEMENTATION

With an initial strategy workshop, we defined the strategic goals together with HERZKA and established the target group, design direction and content strategy. Based on user personas and user stories, we developed a user-centered design for HERZKA.

We created the design in various phases from low-fidelity wireframes to animated high-fidelity Adobe XD mockups. We involved HERZKA in the creation process with feedback loops.

For the design, we chose a simplistic look based on the colors white and blue, which should underline the professionalism of the company. These shades were accentuated with complementary pastel colors, which are intended to highlight the artistic-creative background of the two owners. We also optimized the page structure and content for the search engine (SEO) so that a higher visibility of the website could be achieved.

The redesigned website now combines the desired brand positioning with the need to attract online customers. HERZKA is now perceived as a professional and at the same time a creative consulting firm. This is also reflected in the performance of the new website. The number of online leads has increased by an impressive 312%.

As a result of the redesign and targeted on-page SEO measures, Vapeshop Gubrist climbed to first place within 6 months for the contested keyword “Vape Shop” and was able to rank in the top 3 for the keyword “Vape Shop Zurich.”

Overall, through targeted technical optimizations and on-page text optimizations for a total of 803 keywords, the site ranked within the top 100 search results — and that within just 6 months of SEO.

Customer satisfaction and positive feedback confirm the success of our work. Finally, the project has shown that a well-thought-out web design and a well-thought-out online strategy can have a decisive influence on business success.
